As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Patricia now operates a financial services business specializing in taxation, accounting, and financial planning. Over the years, while assisting clients with college financial planning, she noticed that discussions about college admissions often surfaced. Recognizing a unique opportunity, she leverages her extensive expertise in personal finance and taxation to better serve college-bound families. Unlike most college counselors, who may lack the financial acumen needed for comprehensive advice, Patricia bridges the gap by offering valuable insights tailored to both financial and educational planning.
Patricia has been a Certified College Planning Specialist since 2019 and holds a certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley Extension. She is passionate about helping students and families navigate the complex college admissions process, providing personalized guidance to help them identify their strengths, pursue their goals, and unlock their full potential. Patricia is dedicated to empowering students to excel academically and personally, ensuring they are well-prepared to thrive in their educational and career journeys.
Outside of work, Patricia loves traveling the world and frequently returns to her birthplace, Hong Kong, as well as exploring neighboring Asian countries. On weekends, she is often found volunteering with local charities or enthusiastically supporting her teenage children at their martial arts and sports tournaments, band competitions, and musical recitals.
